I'm to the point where I'm ready to get the axles back on my blasted and POR'd frame...
I just need to confirm the spring setup for this suspension lift before I proceed.
Springs are essentially the same length (eye-eye) One set has significant arch relative to the other set. One set labeled 008059, other set labeled 008051. Corresponding spring eye to center pin distances are essentially the same for both sets though the "center" pin is offset. That is, not exactly centered between the spring eyes. There is about a 4 inch diff when measuring from each spring eye to pin along the same spring. Both ends (springs eyes) are identical
Question (1)
Am I assuming correctly that the greater "arched" set goes up front under the heavy stuff (engine tranny)?
Question (2)
I'm also assuming that the longer offset ends of the springs are attached to the frame hangers versus the shackles?
Any input appreciated
Cheers,
Dave
