Just an FYI, I got a set of the auto darkening goggles for the club ready welder.
I wanted to try them out before a run. I have to say.... They are SPECTACULAR!! I'm gonna pick up an extra set of batteries to keep w/ the kit.
The old goggles were fixed shade and you COULD NOT see what it was you were trying to weld when under the rig in low light. The ready welder we have is CONSTANT HOT when hooked up, so you would blow tips just trying to get lined up. These auto darkening goggles will make welding on the trail MARKEDLY easier!!
I'll bring EM in thurs so everyone can see em.

I'm not going to be able to make it tonight.
Been working late and didn't get all my crap done for wheeling this weekend!!

Good to see all you guys there this week and thanks @flexing40 for holding on to my shirt.
Unfortunately I will not be able to make the club run at the end of the month. I took it upon myself to have a very unspectacular crash on the mtb yesterday that resulted in two fractures hug/mid-shaft on my fibula. So not only can I not ride my bike but since it is my right leg there will be no driving. Splint/cast will be up above he knee for a while to immobilize the knee.

So I am down for the count for a couple months it looks like, know more info later this week after meeting with the orthopedic surgeon.

Wow, so sorry to hear about your breakage. Mountain Bikes are fun but can be hazardous to your skeleton. Will miss you on the run but there will be others.
