I paid $13 @ the drive thru and let them do it. Worth every penny. But I have a roof lol
I ran a sprinkler under the truck for a while to clear the undercarriage.
I'm leaving the mud on the sides for a couple days, my baby looks bad-a$$ that way!

I'm in for $10.00 at the do it yourself wash.

Some pics from today.

The line up...

P.m. me your home e-mail. I'll send you your video going up the mud hill.;) The vortec ran well, you should be pleased.

Nice pictures. If you guys do a run north of Reno I will be there.

I also went out into the desert yesterday thinking the dryest Jan Feb on record would be no problem. Couldn't believe the mud I found myself in, and alone decided best to turn around.

Wow... yeah was probably a good idea that I didnt go. You guys would have probably been winching me out of just about everything! LOL but it does make me want to get that AAL and bigger tires done soon.

I saw you guys at the end of Johnson Ln. as I was heading out to check droop/flex on my new Tacoma. I stopped and talked to, I think it was Keith with a blue FJ? I would like to catch a trail down the road with you guys.

New blood is always welcomed!

It was a fun ride... even though it was a lot of work to get rid of the mud.

I've put up a few photos at http://flickr.com/gp/k6d6z6/xSJ455/

Here are some of mine.

Had a great time with everyone. Hope to get a snow run in sometime this winter, you know, if we ever ge anymore snow.

Jack

I remember that ride! You drove in while we were finishing airing up. We noticed the brand-spanking new looking Tacoma that didn't even have plates yet. Nice ride!

I got a BIG OLE scratch down the PS from a dead tree limb that was broken off. I remember hitting it, but dont recall where.

Thanks, my phone does all the work. Just put in pano mode, a slow horizontal sweep, and about 30 sec later one sweet panoramic photo! It's one of my favorite features, they come out really nice.

You mean besides plenty of Nevada pinstripes!? ;)

A rock hit my exhaust (or rather the other way around :whoops: ) snapping it from a mount. It moved over enough to interfere with a u-joint yoke on the front drive shaft causing a racket. The whole thing wants to move toward the yoke. Spresso help me out and tweaked it back a bit with a ratchet strap hooked to another vehicle. That worked for a bit but then I heard it rubbing again. At lunch I rachet strapped it back over and wired it in place as best I could with bailing wire. :hillbilly:

It seems the PO or someone they had do work did a crappy bird-turd weld to the mount instead of it being properly bolted as stock. While under there I noticed the cats are very sloppily welded on as well. They must have been replaced as those are not stock welds and the system bolts together.

The muffler and resonator look stock as far as I can tell, so not all bad under there.

Yep, me too. It started at the grill and got really bad on the passenger door and continued down the side. I hit it with the buffer, compound and polish last night. It only toned it down though.
