Battery Question

Need a new battery for my 77. I don't have the old one to get dimensions from. Are the 55 batteries the same as the 40s? Just need a size code or dimensions for the stock size battery to go in the tray.

My 1973 fj55 came factory with a group 27f.

Thank you...from further research, that seems to be what I need. Do 40 batteries match up?

Got a group 24...maybe could have gone larger, but it works nice..800cca from Sears.
