Battery connection, Does this look right?

I spent sunday pulling wires out of my LC. When I unhooked a positive wire going to the rear fender I noticed these wires looked warn and brittle. should they be replaced? or am I just worried about 14year old wires a little to much?

Wires look OK to me. The insulation looks a little ratty though. Unless you are having a problem, I would just wrap 'em up in some electrical tape and call it good. But trust me, I'm no expert, so take it FWIW.

I'd replace just because all the chicks who look under your hood are gonne be like ewwwww, what ugly wires.

Unless you want to replace it just tape it up should be fine.

Now thats funny! I don't care who you are!
The wires look pretty normal and ok to me. Everything dosen't necessarily have to look new to function properly. Remember if it ain't broke don't fix it. Use a good battery terminal cleaner to make em look better.

I have a wife and two mortgage's. I can no longer care what chicks think when they look under the hood.
