So has the bottom started to fall out of the FJ40 collector market, just getting flooded or maybe buyers are getting savy to FJ40s and starting to matter how original it is? Watching these auctions over the years Barrett Jackson would not be where I would take a FJ40. It also shows if your looking to restore and flip a fj40 buy original as you can and keep it that way. Doubt any of the owners saw much of a profit if they were the ones who did all the mods. That 82 guessing may have seen the biggest [profit depending what they started with and how they were charged to have someone else do all the work.

Anyone have links to other Toyota sold at the other auctions going on this week? Those have been the ones that the FJ40s are bringing big bucks.

Just went across the block. Sold for $55K. I would consider that a low price for such a nice vehicle. I am sure there was more than 55K into the restoration.

I saw this 78 the other night. It was nice but had a few items that caught my eye, will look at it again today in the light. The door panels and a few other things inside were different than original
