Where does this go in the transmission’s va.
 
Yes we found the spring. However this excellent illustration brings up another issue. When I took the valve body down,the middle piston of three in close proximity fell out with its associated springs. At the other end with the check. Valve, there was a pair of springs like the rest BUT NO PISTON. I PUT IT BACK THE WAY IT WAS. BUT NOW THERE IS NO REVERSE???,,,
 
More data. There is no First gear, Neutral and Park are Buzzorama. Adding more fluid seemed to calm some of the nuttiness, but she is full now and I ‘m left wondering how it worked before less one piston. The only previous symptom was that reverse would bring on grinding in high torque. Situations. Would more adjustment of the kick-down helpalthough it seems about right?
