Badly Need New Seats

Does anyone have an leather seats for an FZJ80? My driver seat is extremely worn out, exposed springs and cracks everywhere. It is getting quite uncomfortable. I do have a set of fabric seats but the seatbelts on those seats bolt to the floor instead of the seat itself and there is no Nutsert in the floor of my 80 to do this swap.

Has anyone swapped leather for fabric or does anyone have any leather seats for sale?

Its torn to shreds, the truck has 650,000 km on it and spent alot of its time in the Cali sun without sunscreen

hmm thats no good. butt pad and seat covers for now i guess.
would you be able to somehow incorporate the seat belt fastener to where the seat bolts to the floor? use the same hole, with a slightly longer bolt. you would have to space the remaining corners for a good fit. without seeing it i have no idea whether this would work, but its worth a shot

Funny you should mention that, I was just thinking about whether or not I could get away with a thick L bracket coming off the rear seat mount bolt. This might be doable. I don't have the seats here but I was just thinking about when I had last tried it a few years ago. I just don't want to mess around with the safety stuff if I can avoid it ya know

That's fair. I would personally trust a hefty L bracket for than a nutcert. But I guess legally speaking....I have no clue
Make it looks clean and paint it nicely and you should be good IMO

Not what you want to hear but crushed this one couple months ago and front seats were decent. No demand without shipping! Rest of it was a gutted shell at the end.

South Island imports in Nanaimo has had a couple 80's over the years, might be worth a try.

thanks, i checked there a few days ago, the only cruiser they have has been there for about 4 years and is completely picked through.

Well turns out those cloth seats that I thought I had seemed to have gotten sold. Just went digging through a mass pile of 80 series interior parts my dad had collected only to find that I have almost everything except for the seats... time for plan..... F?
