Hi all,

I just purchased a 94 Runner, and the booster went out 2 days after I bought it..

Are they rebuild-able? I know I can get used/manufactured for way less, but Toyota wants $1000 for a new one!!! Holeee Chit!

Thanks in advance
Mark

Mark, you got the 1KZTE that was up for sale in Santa Cruz or Ibeezy's from Ventura? (Sig line)

:bounce::bounce:WANNA RACE!? :bounce::bounce:

Let me know if you need any help with it or any interior bits since John and I have started up a little parts collection.

LOL I tried contacting Ibeezy, but he never got back to me. Then out the blue I check Craigslist just to see if there's something else out there. and the one from SC popped up.

It's pretty scary buying a truck that has an unobtanium motor in it.. Crossing my fingers that regular maintenance keeps it running for a long time. Here's to hoping.

I notice that you're all over the bay area.. I work in Brisbane right near the Cow Palace. Drop me a line if you're ever in this area.

It's no race car. But sure! :) I know off the line I got you ;)

LOL, I know you'd have me off the line, I was even thinking of just following you up 92 to 280 and on over to HMB with a GoPro since I've been talking about hosting a Meet-n-Greet for some LC-80's and Mini's.

As for work, yeah, all over up to San Bruno, down through San Jose, and up to Union City. I'll pm ya next week when I get back from a little trip I got going.

Let me know if you need help with the booster swap, I can go there or you can come over here next Friday. Same goes for the door switches if they still need fixing: http://www.toyotadiesel.com/forums/showthread.php?t=8256 I know the original builder and what else it might be needing.
Here's a pic. :D

If you don't keep the head unit I got dibs since I have one and want another.

Well got er dun yesterday. Brakes great again.

Norcal, I just might be interested in your help with the lock switch. It still doesn't work. Also thanks for the link.
Cheers

As for a thread about it, I didn't build it, and this is my first diesel, so it wouldn't be an interesting one.
