Back window barrier or netting for pets

Has anyone made some type of a barrier for the back window? Since there is very little ventilation in the back and my big dog may get smelly and he likes to look out the back. I want to make sure he is safe!

I use something like this to prop the rear window open.
Leash hook
Just insert it into the latch after you pop the window. Dont think it's exactly what you are looking for but, its easy and cheap.
