Questioning my life choices...
I wanted to spread the word about McLean Metalworks and their hitch receiver Hammock mounts. The owner Chris has developed one of the coolest hammock mounts I've come across and now that he's introduced the new Tire Stand, you can place the hammock anywhere around the truck (or trailer) and still stay off the ground at the beach, above the tree line or anywhere.
I don't personally own any of his products or have any association with the company but I really respect them and love the innovation. The v2 Hammock mount accommodates up to 114" long hammocks. Unfortunately, my Hennessey Deep Jungle XL hammock is 132" and will not fit his mount. I've been pestering him about making a longer setup but it would be difficult to maintain the tight, folding package.
