Hello,
As some of you may have experienced these light bar plugs are big and are a pain in the butt to try to get them through the firewall or through any other hole you may find. My only option was to cut the plug off and then run the wires through the firewall and then re-attach the plug.
As I was looking over the plug i saw that female adapters within the plug attached themselves to the plastic plug with a little tab that sticks up from the female connector. What I did was i found a small file that i had and was able to stick it in the plug hole right above the female connector and was able to flatten it down so that it would pull out and it worked. There was no need to cut the wires and was able to pull all 4 wires out and run them through my engine bay through the firewall and then i re-attached the wires to the same location by prying up the metal tab prior to sticking it back into the plug.
