Aux fuel tank dual fill neck

I'm saying If I can't get the 100 series dual fill neck why not just T off the stock fill neck and vent?

Do the same thing with the fill vent

It would probably work. But you could not fill the individual tanks on their own, say, if one of the tanks developed a problem and you couldn’t keep gas in it. It also might make it more difficult to fill the larger tank, because the smaller tank would fill up first and back up to the Y. then you would have to fill the larger tank more slowly. Not a huge problem, but it would cause some inconvenience.
