Autohomeus.com no more?

I just got a tent from them on Tuesday, so they aren't dead yet (or weren't). https://forum.ih8mud.com/showthread.php?t=150559

Mike S on this board works with them (is them?). He'll probably be along shortly to comment.

Server outage

Did Auto Home USA close their doors? Web site does not come up any more.

We suffered a server outage for about 14 hours. I apologize for the inavailablity of the site during that time.

We are very much in business, and selling/shipping tents at a good clip. All is well.

Admin glitch....forgot to renew domain. Been there, done that.

You must have something wrong with your computer. Maybe some kind of virus or something. It is still working fine for me. Good luck with figuring out what is going on.

Basically caching is keeping commonly accessed results in memory. This speeds opening of a url. It should work OK from now on.

I wouldn't wwant you to miss anything ;-)

You could delete all your temporary internet files. This might do the trick.

Or hit F5 when you get the bogus page.
The browser "re-load" button does the same thing, forces the browser to load the page from the host rather than from cache.
I run into this when I make changes to our Co. website. I usually need to remind people to hit the magic "F5" to see the modified pages. ;)

FN microsoft...... coldtaco use Firefox.

Also it is possible still you have virus. I had once that would not let me get into normal sites kept re-directing me to a search engine. That is virus or trojan or something. Try googling the name of search engine and you will find out what it is.

I had a coolweb search engine on my computer.

Once you start running Firefox you tend not to get such weird issues with your Microcrap computer..... The best though is buy a MAC.

Brownbear, I use Mozilla which is the parent of Firefox.

The company that shows up when I click on your website is Dotster and says that www.autohomeus.com name is expired.

That sucks. We are alive and well. This could be cache error based on a legacy DNS problem, and the re-propagation of the domain name sometimes takes several days.

Use the link I provided, and navigate from there. Everybody else seems to be able to get through. :-(
