Auto slide back driver front seat? 2010 lx570

I have a strange question, I think my truck used to automatically slide the driver front seat back in addition to the steering wheel tilting and telescoping in (after you shut truck off. My steering wheel does the right thing but the seat doesn't slide back automatically. I recently changed the battery so maybe that did something but I don't see any option to turn the slide seat feature on (I think I have it, the truck is new to me so maybe I just imagined it lol). I don't see anywhere in the owner's manual. Can anyone shed some light on this ?

You are probably thinking of the 3 buttons that can memorize seat position and steering g wheel placements. But those work only when programmed by you and the buttons on the door are then pressed.

The only thing that moves automatically every time is the steering wheel gets out of the way.

The setting is somewhere in the screen menu. You can set it to move half way or full in my '13. This is part of the Power Easy Access System. The setting should be under Auto Away Function or something like that.

yeah, I don't show that setting on my screen, and I know about the memory seating, that is working fine.

My steering wheel only moves away when turning off the truck. I believe its a dealer setting on the pre 13 LX. Should be a page ab it in the manual.

Personally, I would NOT want my seat moving forward or back on its own. When fully loaded, aluboxes, passengers, or my dog are carefully situated in the second row, and it could be a problem if my seat kept moving backward without my direction.

Plus...moving the driver seat backward doesn’t really help exiting anyway, IMO.
Getting the steering wheel out of the way DOES help tho.

On the '13 to access it you press Setup > Vehicle > Vehicle customization > Other vehicle settings.
