Just wondering if anyone has converted a Petrol FJ75 over to a 250 Falcon Crossflow 6?

I have a freshly rebuilt 250 and was thinking of putting it into my FJ75.

It was a popular conversion years back when fuel was cheap but there's better engines around today. If your keen to run it I have a fuel injection system for a xd 250 engine not sure what fuel savings you might get injected. :)

Cheers ozcruiser

Only reason I am considering it is I have a new rebuilt 250 out of my Speedway car which has a cam and other mods done to it so was going to use that engine.

I considered EFI on it, but from what I remember of the EFI 250's they made good power high up in the rev range, but were a bit of a slug under 3,000rpm.
The carby engines seem to have more low down power.

Compression tested the 3F thats in the Cruiser and 3x cylinders were around 50psi and the other 3x were between 75 and 110. So she is knackered. :/
I have another 3F, but I dont think that's in much better nick.
