Picked up this unit yesterday.
$500 bucks from a farm clearence sale. Hasnt been road registered since 1988.
Will need 2 front guards and indicator assemblies
windscreen
clutch Master cylinder
seats
and a steel tray, as ute body is rusty - certainly repairable, but so much easier to simply bolt a tray on.
2F Petrol Motor and 4 speed go really well, and the body itself is rust free. I dunno if $500 was too much, but they are getting hard to find, and it was only 16klm's up the road.
Plan is to get it road worthy and drive it,
with a set of wide wheels, front disc's, free wheeling hubs, an LPG conversion and a full floater rear to follow.
Cleaned out the 33 years of Dirt, Straw, Broken Eggs, spent and unspent bullets, one porno mag, mouse crap, an awesome fishing knife and some lures, bolts screws spanners and heaps of irrigation fittings, to eventually find a relatively intack floor mat.
gave the cab a quick polish and put some grey back on those wheels.
Progress pics to follow.
cheers
