We did,
All packed up for 5 days away. And I could even still see out the windows.
Down into Hale Creek we go. The "hard way" in is the only way in currently, as the other road is gated for the current logging operation and the road blocked farther down as well.

Arrived late afternoon on Friday and scored the campsite on the rock bluff.
The only other person there at the time was this 'fella (you can see his campsite on the beach point above)

Caught this epic battle on the forest floor. A little irridescent sparkle got my attention, and found this waspy thing fighting a spider that was twice it's size. The waspy thing won and proceeded to drag its meal a very long way to its burrow. I should have video'd instead of stills.

Yeah, nice guy. Turned out we have a lot in common; same name, same trailer, same tent, same boat, same chainsaw.
