I am not sure why the other thread was closed but I was sharing something that I am building that will do just that. Actually a couple of somethings. If you have one external speaker and you want ham radio and CB from it, that is fairly simple and I have already done this. If interested, send me a PM and I can send you a kit of parts or can assemble one for you.
Second, if you want to mix CB, amateur radio, and your iPod/iPad (stereo) inputs together and then feed them into the aux input of your rig's radio, I am working on that and hope to have it completed soon. I have some units going out to volunteers for testing. FJC Magazine will be one of the beta testers. The biggest thing left was deciding on connections to the box which it finally came down to just using mono jacks and letting the customer purchase the cables from Radio Shack. We'll also offer a terminal strip and sub-miniature connector for those so inclined to use them.
The one altoids mixer listed on the other, now closed thread will not work as efficient as the one that I am building. It has no isolation circuits and no pre-amplification circuits.
The first ones will be in a 5x5.5 case like this:
The final model will be about half that size, but for now this is it. I don't have the $$$ to order 100 circuit cards to make the small version just yet.
And mods, PM me before you shut this down if there is some problem. I'd gladly fix whatever it is.
