Hey cottonlanders, I posted a problem up on the 60 forum. Heres the text:
Disaster!? Help!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I was on the home stretch of my new carb installation today when everything went south.
As I was reinserting the air housing tightening bolt it snapped off inside the bolt hole in the carburator. Has anyone one ever had this happen? Should I drill it out? I suppose thats the only way. Is it possible to drill it without destroying the threads or will I have to tap it after its removed?
arrgghhh........
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Just wondering if any of you local guys have experience with this.
