ashtray/ 12V power panel in front of gear shifter (03LC)

Can you remove the entire panel without removing the center console/ gear shift cover plate? I'm trying to get behind the ashtray panel to eliminate some non-oem wiring.

Yes. It just pulls straight out.

ok thanks, the top portion unclipped easily but the bottom half was sticking and I didn't want to break the panel.
