Steve not sure it will either be mine or adams but if anyone is getting a 40 it will be me and they can use the wagon.....

What you need to do is get a 40 now and say it's for the kids, by the time they're old enough, it'll be safe. BTW, you'll need to drive it often to make sure it stays reliable and safe. 
Already working on it. wife agreed to me getting it when the kids are 14 so they can help me rebuild it and have it ready before they turn 16. I am just counting the days. My oldest turns 11 in march.

There is a sorry looking 40 by me that I am considering saving. I like the first car justification.
Buy it now - it ALWAYS takes longer than you think!
