***(Trailer Already Being Transported)***

We need someone to deliver a trailer from Baton Rouge, LA to Phelan, CA. Trailer does not have plates and you will need to bring a temp/transport tag. Trailer has a pintle hitch and electric brakes. Pickup location is a commercial lot, drop off is a agricultural farm area with large turnaround area. There are forklifts on both sides.

Big Risk

That is a big risk ....

Why are you or did you buy a trailer so far away .. ?

Experienced haulers will not hook up and tow a used
trailer without an independent complete safety inspection
being done first ....

Without a CDL license - DOT number - commercial plates
there is no insurance (liability or comprehensive) in force
for anyone who tows this ...

Furthermore, your insurance will not cover liability
or comprehensive damage claim because you are
not towing it ....

That means you - the owner - are liabile or
any claims of damage (even claims from the
person towing it) ...

Every state the trailer passes thru - it has to stop at
commercial weigh/inspection stations where brakes,
tires, etc. are subject to inspection ...

You should have looked into this before purchase

Transport of Trailer Cross Country

The Allure of the low price was too irresistible to avoid... I ended up paying 1/3 of the cost of one here in California (everything expensive here). So with the shipping cost, I am still at 1/2 cost. I ended up finding a commercial carrier to bring it at $1600, which was a chunk of change - but guaranteed to be delivered. Hopefully it will be here on monday the 10th. He did do a inspection and reported back to me before hooking up to pull it. Last I heard he was in Texas, wish me luck on a safe travel the other half of the way:cheers:
