Armed Forces Week! Tribute in the Castaways Park.
The Exchange Club in Newport Beach set up a fund raiser for our wounded warriors in a local park with the highlight being the posting of 1,776 full sized American Flags all along the trails and walkways. It was/is a beautiful windy day today and seeing thousands of Old Glory's waving majestically over Newport Bay gives you goose bumps. There were lot's of veterans mingling and I took the opportunity to say thanks to several. I wanted to say thanks to any of you active warriors and you veterans as well. Come check it out if your nearby.
