Thought I would share a couple pictures from the trip. Drove the 4runner 1800 miles round trip, and wheeled the Snot out of it while I was there. The transmission overheated about halfway through the trip, so we had to stay out of overdrive a lot to let it cool. Other than that, no issues. Yes, the trans has a cooler on it... I just think the 1200 pound camper, 37's, and all the family and stuff was just too much for it.

Anyway, had a great time at our stopover in Kansas at Milord state park. We just happened to pull in on a weekend they were having Halloween festivities. They had a night nature walk, hay rides, that kinda thing--we almost considered staying there cause the place was so nice.

Once in Arkansas, we made our way to Byrd's adventure center, where we were to meet up with our group. We arrived first on sunday night, I thought we would have the place to ourselves, but Monday morning rigs started showing up on trailers...with 38.5's, 42's, and 44's...lol, I never thought I would be the guy with the smallest tires. I was intimidated until I the end o the week, when I turned out to be the only rig with no broken parts. I did get some new dents, met some great people, and got to do a lot of good wheeling. I forgot how thick the forests are in the south, you can't get off the trail if you wanted too. :)
