I guess they will help with a lost phone all right. That's great already.
But what about a stolen or greedy lost phone-finder situation?
After all, it seems that if the thief/finder just takes the SIM card out immediately and shuts off the power, none of those apps would do much good after that. And if he powers it back up later with no wifi connected, he can just do a full reset, wipe it clean, and you're out of luck? Or are there sturdier apps than that that work at a lower system level and can't be erased easily?
