Well my 4runner is back out after its 90 degree flopover with only minor hammering and spray paint
So I went up to Donegal to run some unmaintained back roads and snowmobile trails with Triangle.I(854runner)met up with Frank(green XJ),Dave(tan YJ),and George McGuire(06 Rubicon) at the last minute George's grandson showed up with a bone stock Chevy Trailblazer. We hit the trail 5 deep the snow was a good 8-15 inches of packed snow on the road and the drifts and plowings on the side were chest deep(notice where the snow ends on the "no winter maintenance" sign)The trailblazer did PHENOMENAL going everywhere with little trouble.Georges Rubicon and Frank's Cherokee did great with Frank having top notch snow tires and Georges all-terrain Goodyears,me and Dave however both running Bias Super Swampers felt like racing slicks with 2wd,we both had to go down to 6 pounds of pressure to get traction. All went well til the last hill(mountain) everyone got stuck ,had to try again and/or get pulled, at one point we had 200' of tow ropes and chain linking me back down to dave and i pulled him as i winched forward......all that and made it home for the STEELERS!!...........I'll be in touch.......Brian
