As we know ARB fridges are great, but the lid is a problem!
First it is hinged long ways so the you need more vertical clearance to open and peer in, than if it was hinged side ways. In my 74 this is a pain.
Second the hinges are not 'friction held', meaning the lid always has to be held open to access the fridge contents.
This guy has resolved these two problems. The supplied hinge is an adjustable tension hinge that is capable of holding the lid open.
