ARB Awning size (2000 vs 2500)

Does someone uses/prefer 78.75″ (2.0m) W x 98.4″ (2.5m) L instead of 98.4″ (2.5m) W x 98.4″ (2.5m) L, awnings ? Personally i like that shorter tent has same size as my roof rack. But still can't decide what size to buy. I think that size of the room is enough for 2-4 persons to sit inside and for 2 to sleep. As for shade i think it is enough to use extender, and this is more effective than 0.5 meters of awning. But same time those 0.5 are not so good in forest or could bring additional noise at highway.

I have the bigger of the 2. Fits and works just fine. You will never regret having too much shade or dry area.

I have one of each. The longer length 2500 is supremely better when deployed etc. The 2k length, while very useful, isn't as practical but still way better than nothing. The size difference is very noticeable, especially when seeking shade or getting out of the rain. I would get the larger one. That said, the size difference, when mounted, is apparent.

Getting out of rain and shade is main purpose of awning ) I think I will go with 2.5 meter size but Ironman, not ARB.
