Goldboy took a few of us on run past the ski hill and over to Hedley a few years back. Checked out a couple of mines on the way. I remember seeing claim posts along the way....lots of mining history in them parts.
Yeah, there are a couple of cool mines out that way for sure. I know a couple of the trails, nothing too hardcore. but great views and fun hills. Also, I highly recommend driving into and camping at Nickel Plate Lake. 4wd access only so there aren't many people there, even in the summer. I camped up there in October. In the winter its all set as ski trails.
