I am thinking about installing a mobile GMRS for occasional trail use. I would like it to be out of the way, so the ones you can control from the mic are appealing. I was looking at the BTECH GMRS-50pro since it is a lot cheaper than the Midland MXT575. There aren't a lot of reviews besides people just listing all of the features. Is anyone here using the BTech?
I gather that the brand is hit or miss, so please let me know of your experiences with BTech, good or bad.

P.S. I am very familiar with the Wouxun KG-1000G. And I am not interested in buying a used commercial radioactive and programming it to work on GMRS.
