I have a similar lift kit from TRUXX on my 07'. Should be easy enough if you have the right tools and space. I had a shop do mine. Toughest part looks to be the coil springs up front, and handling them correctly.

I installed that lift in my 2010 Tacoma shortly after I purchased the truck new. Install was pretty easy, done in my garage with the assistance of my brother.

Spacer lift is fine for light trail riding and to get more aggressive tires.

Duke, that is exactly why I did mine. Enough lift for a DD, family transport, getting me to and from hunting and fishing spots, and I pull a 19 1/2 ft. trailer with it. No gear changes (yet), and only mods were a K&N stock filter, and a Flowmaster.
