Anyone rebuild a 22re lately?

Just checking for an idea on cost, I have a good running 22re now but it’s tired. Thinking about freshening it up soon. Anyone?

local machine shop wanted 2600 to rebuild a 22re. Lucy for me i had a spare in the garage. last time i had one rebuilt was in 2007 think it was 800. back then

I've had a couple sbc's rebuilt in the last few years- it's almost at the point where the shops have priced themselves out of my budget. Cheaper to find a good runner of any flavour.

Local machine shop just did the head and block bored .040 over. I think it was like 1400.
