Any recent experiences? Planning on a larger-ish order of sliders and skids. I know there was some delays and complaints on tacomaworld.com lately.

I thought their lead times are listed on the site as 8 to 10 weeks???

I was about to order from them and talked to them already on the phone. They did say there were backed up, due to powder coating. Something about they could not do powder coating when its raining, and it has been raining there a lot lately I guess.

They seemed very nice, and were honest up front that they were on a bit of a delay. Which is fine for me, I probably will not be driving the TLC much over the winter to the crazy amounts of salt they use around here.

I am fine with 8-10 week wait. Just hope it's not gonna be 15+ week wait...

Re salt. You probably get nothing compared to the what they dump in MA (highest use per mile in the country; fake tree huggers, environment be damned so they can roll their Priuses on all-seasons, /rant).

I already have 2 garage queens that are not driven in winter, so the LC does not get that luxury. However, I went bonkers with rust proofing using Corrosion Free (aka Formula 3000). Seems to be great stuff, like Fluid Film, but more clingy and smell free. Highly recommend this stuff and DIY route so you know it's applied correctly everywhere.

Be prepared to wait. My order took well over two months to deliver but I was willing to wait for the quality build they are known for. The key here is stay in touch with Bud and he will take care of you. His product quality is unmatched in my opinion comparing to other brands I was evaluating.

I ordered and received my stage 3 skids from Buds under the 8-10 weeks lead time. Can't say that'll be your case. Nonetheless, the product is worth the wait. Budbuilt is tough stuff, cant go wrong there.

Definitely ordering from them, thanks for chiming in!
