Anyone know of a good driveshaft shop in LA??

I'm starting to develop really bad driveline vibration. I'd like to take mine in and have it reballanced or find out of the ujoint might be going bad....

One other thing, has anyone here done the Taco d/s replacement on their 80??

I've used them in the past for a variety of jobs, they like quality parts and their prices are better than the competition. I've never had a problem with any of their work.

Some folks like Cannon engineering in North Hollywood. I've used them, but they're more expensive and their attitude has been less than wonderful at times. So I now use only Wenco.

I've used both Wenco and Cannon. Never a problem with either shop. Now that I'm in Van Nuys myself it's Wenco.

Hey Scott,

Do you know if it's the front or rear? The front was a taco dc shaft with koyo ujoints that was re-tubed about a month before you bought the truck.

The shop is down here is south OC. I bet they'd stand by thier work if it's out of balance. The joints were originals that came on the shaft from the taco though.

Let me know if you need me to call them. I'll dig up thier info just in case.
