Anyone know how to get the sub in the back if it was not in FJ when purchased?

Is this thing prewired for a sub even if it is not in the FJ?

Pop off the cover on the wheel well and see if you have a wire harness there. If so it is for the sub.

The subwoofer is a piece of space taking junk. I would happily sell mine and replace it with an aftermarket unit.
