Anyone know anything of the Sequoia

I was pondering picking one up for more power towing. They're very similar to the Tundra of the same years. From 2005 the 2uzfe is VVTI which is more desirable than the earlier years. And of course from 2008 they get the whole new UR V8. I think there is at this point an option of a 4.6 or a 5.7 V8. The 2008+ are very very pricey used and new, although they are very nice trucks with the 5.7.

They are ALL fuel hungry from what I hear. Although the UR engines are better than the old UZ engine.

If it were me I'd look at the 2005-2007 ones (first gen with the facelift and vvti). I think some of these had a 5speed auto too, which would be nicer for towing. The prices are reasonable and they can still be found mint with low miles.

I had a look at the new ones, great truck! Great driving, comfortable, roomy, and spendy. They do hold their value though comparatively speaking against anything else. I opted for a new 4Runner as a "grocery getter" and its a great little truck. As mentioned the older Sequoia's are a bit thirsty, but have gotten better and wouldn't hesitate if one was to be had for a decent price.
I'm supposed to be headed back to work after xmas, things might change but let me know if/when you're in Vic., we'll grab a pint or two and get caught up.
Cheers!
PS:i'm thinking a Sequoia will be happening for us sooner than later, gotta have the extra room and seating. Hounds and luggage add up quickly!
