Anyone install the factory remote start? I guess I need Techstream (1 Viewer)

Were you able to ever get past the registration step? I'm having the same problem on my '15 remote start install

I gave up on the factory remote start kit I got on eBay. I could never get passed the registration step, as it kept failing. Do you have the full install manual? There are slight variations between the 2008-2013 and 2014 and up (I believe those are the model changes but could be off a year or so).
I ordered and installed a 12volt.solutions kit in about 10 minutes. It was amazingly easy and functions exactly the same way the factory remote start works. I need to get the other kit back onto eBay soon. The 12volt.solutions kit is almost 100% plug and play, if I remember correctly, there were two wires to splice but all of the connections are under the steering wheel and easy to access. If you don't mind going backwards and uninstalling the factory kit, I'd go the 12v route every time. No Techstream or anything.

I only have the 2013 instructions - if you have a link to the 2015 instructions that would be appreciated

By uninstalling the factory kit do you mean the hardware or software? If you mean the software, how is that done? I had a dealer attempt to install the oem remote start on my 2021 LC and the dealer could not get it to register. I then had a shop install the drone mobile and can’t get it to register. I was told to take it to the dealer to uninstall the oem remote start software and bring it back to finish the drone mobile registration.

You have to remove the entire kit and return the wiring to factory. Took me about 30 minutes to take mine out. Also the 12V kit has been updated, no wire splicing anymore it was 100% plug and play. I also went for the cellular option, sure is nice to lock/unlock remotely as well as start the truck from long distances all through an app
