I've been reading all over about how much cheaper it is to get your vehicle wrapped than it is to paint it. I've called around and I was quoted $3200 from Gatorwraps WITHOUT the roof, and $2900 from another place. Both of those quotes were for plain white, no graphics. It's been a long time since I have paid to have anything painted (in 2002 I had a '64 lambretta painted mica silver for $500), but I can't imagine a decent paint job costing much more than those quotes.
I am not 100% sure I want to wrap my truck, but with the clear non-existent in some areas, and the rest of the truck looking jaundiced, a uniform color would be welcomed. I looked into buying the film myself, which isn't all that expensive, but I'd like a hand putting it on. Anyone here know someone who wraps cars and wants to make some money on the side?
