Anyone ever lose their instrument cluster menu and cruise control?

My wife is on a trip driving the 2013 460. She said she cannot control the menu (within the instrument cluster) and cruise control isn't working. AI is saying clockspring... but I don't trust AI.

Anyone have any experience with this?
