1971 INTERNATIONAL FLATBED TRUCK - REDUCED FROM $1500. This is a rare model and few have survived. It is a Model 1310 and the largest in its class. It is a 1 Ton flatbed with a GVW of 10,000 lbs and 5k empty. We were going to use it to haul a skid welding unit. It is a 4x4 with a Dana 70 in the front with locking hubs and a Eaton in the rear( Ratio 4.88 on both). The engine is a 345 V8 with a Holly 2 bbl. The transmission is a 4 speed on the floor with a np 205 divorced transfer case. Frame mounted 10K Military winch with 1/2 inch cable that is PTO driven off the transfer case. The wheels are 16x8 with 8 hole pattern. The brakes are 11 inch drum in the front. I haven't worked on the rear brakes so I don't know their size. The engine has 65k miles on it and smokes some after warm up. The engine is hard to keep running and I have a new Carb kit for the Holly 2 bbl. The steel flat bed needs new wood. New rear taillights have been installed, but not hooked into the wiring harness. There is a pintle hitch on the rear. The transmission works in all gears and the winch works in both directions. All that is needed is get it running and bleed the brakes. I put new wheel cylinders on the front ($120.00) and had trouble bleeding the right side. It would be an interesting project for someone. The truck is located in Granbury south of Fort Worth. $1300 OBO.

Seeing that listing is a helluva depressing way to begin the week. :frown:

Good luck with the sale. I think you should do a full scale background check of any prospective buyer. Ya gotta be sure the new owner is worthy. Anyone like this shows up...tell 'em to hit the road.

Wow. Just Wow!

Can't wait to see what you build next, Greg.

Hopefully someone in CottonLand will buy it. It's absolutely my favorite 62...ever. I have a wagon already and a project. I'm not speaking to greg anymore..

; )

Isn't that the truck that started it all?
It deserves a grand send off. I would buy
it but not sure I'm worthy.

Cattywampus tried the grand send off... din't work out so well for Cattywampus.
