Anyone build their own RR mounts?

I recently welded up a roof rack, that I think will serve my needs. I made it out of round tubing though, and am looking for a satisfactory way of attaching it to the rain gutter. I'd like the mounts to be removable, so that I can attach the rack to the windshield frame and rollbar when the top is off. I've done searches of other manufactured mounts, but none of those will attach to the rack I've built. I may have put the cart before the horse here. But I thought I might see if anyone out there has built their own mounts and pics if you have them.

If you have fabbed up a rack, mounts should be easy. Take a look at the old style con-ferr rack brackets, simple and effective.

I would guess with what you want to do with them you would need to fab something from scratch.
