Anybody want to trade my manual tranny for an automatic?

I have a 4 speed (on the floor of course) that I'd kinda like to trade for an automatic. Mine's in good working order, just tired of driving stick. lol
Also, has anyone ever done a swap like this, maybe from automatic to manual? Care to tell me your story?

All I know is it's a 2f from a 1978, 4 speed.

That makes it an H42 with the 16 spline output for a single piece transfer case. They are quite common, usually about $100 for a used one.

I have a 420 or a 465. I can't remember which it is. It came out of a late 80's chevy 1-ton 4x4. It still has the bell housing on it. PM me if you are interested.

Your gonna have to get a custom adapter from someone to run an auto, there is no auto that bolts right up to your engine.

These guys can probably hook you up with the adapter, but a special order custom may hurt the pocket. www.advanceadapters.com

Auto from an FJ62 c/w transfer case should work if you have the length.
