I won't be able to make it this year - but I was in a similar circumstance as you last year in NC (coming from Pennsylvania). I just googled the address, and then got an AirBNB 4 miles away.
We ended up with a $45 a night place (before fees) and it was totally appropriate considering we were only sleeping there.
