anybody going on High Water Trail this October

Just wondering if anybody is going down to Arkansas this year. My wife and I are thinking about running the trail down there either October 3-6 or October 30- November 2. I've heard the latter part of October is peak foliage season and if the rains hold off everything should be accessible.

I realize you are talking about the high water mark trail. Considering that this trail also passes private lands, just be prepared.

In answering your post, I would love to head that way and check the trail out but I will be too busy this time of year, and the wife being 8 months pregnant in oct....... I'm sure you get the picture.

Tires Getting Spiked On Trail - Expedition Portal

What's happening is offroader's are getting their tires spiked by Eco-terrorists or folks trying to keep people away from pot growing areas.

The link I tried to post was a group that later got their tires spiked and the others in the group set out to find the spikes and pulled out a huge sheet of thick metal with 2 inch spikes welded to it. It also had a huge chain attached so the folks planting them could pull it out for their passage and then reset the trap.
