Any thoughts on new BFG KM2s?

I'm thinking about a set of these, in 315/75s. Anyone have any experience? Looks like they might be better for rocks, not quite as good in mud as original KMs.
Just put mine on last week. 315 75R 16's. I'm going to ACT08 this year. Couldn't see driving SSR's all the way. Buy it for rock crawling.. Supposed to be slightly better in mud than the original KM's. Krawler tread looks good. First impression is AWsome offroad. Went to Crown King 2 days ago and was impressed. No snow, mud. Some wet stuff though. Did better than the previous KM's. TYpical road feedback for mud terrains although it might be my imagination it does seem to be a little quieter. Pricey though.. 1298.00 out the door with road hazard tax, etc. (Discount Tire)

I just put a set of 315/75s on mine and they are not as loud on the hwy as I thought they would be. As far as off road traction...I ran them in some sand and over some medium sized rocks with excellent results. I have not had a chance to really push them yet since I don't have the sliders on yet.

I would not recommend these tires if your rig is a daily driver since the compound feels very soft and probably would not last very long.

They do look good though :grinpimp: :

I'm looking forward to them. I had 37" krawlers on my last rig. They lasted longer than I thought at 20,000 miles. I hope these last a bit longer.

Definitely not a daily driver, I've got 36x12.50 TSL radials on it now, but it's just a little rough for the weekend trips I do take it on the highway.

Debating between a set of ATs and keep the TSL for a dedicated off-road tire (switching gets old, I've played that before) or just going MTs. If I just go MT I have to choose which one!

Thanks, sounds like a pretty good tire, I'm surprised at the better than original KMs in mud, given less corner lugs and tighter spacing between.
