Is anyone headed out for a day trip to his weekend? I really want to head out somewhere but don’t want to head out without another rig.

I’m open for anywhere. Just have to be back by 430 or so.

Im trying to head out to Anza tomorrow late afternoon and check out a few bloom spots on Sunday. Not 100% sure my plans at this point bit I can keep you posted. Did you mean 4:30 Sat or Sun?
 
430 Saturday. However, I may be up for Sunday instead. Keep me posted.

Ok otherwise you could go meet the guys who are headed to Bailey's/Alder canyon tonight.

Do you have coordinates of your camp spot or trailhead? What time do you plan on hitting the trail tomorrow?

What I got from Tim was "towards the end of Alder Canyon". Grabbed some coordinates from Google Maps so figuring that's where they landed the end is just past here: 33.421668,-116.543387

I should head out of SD around 4pm latest.

Edit: though I didn't think you could drive out that whole way so we shall see. I'll throw on the HAM handheld I just got on 146.490. should work for most of the trip except towards the end.

Mike - sorry we missed each other, did you make it out? It was pretty crazy out there, just had to keep moving to get away from the crowds. But from S-22 down to 78 I didn't see anyone. Took Coachwhip into the badlands and eventually exited via Blowsand Valley. Pics galore, couldn't take a bad shot out there: 2019 Anza Borrego Super Bloom

I have a map of Anza trails w/ bloom spots overlaid if anyone wants it.
 
My wife and I made it out. We found everyone just in time to drive back out with them. It was a nice drive. Looking forward to the next one!
