I have a black cruiser and my wheels are looking a bit sad. I was thinking of just rattle-canning them black, but I'm not sure it would look 'right'. The white rigs with black wheels are awesome! I have 35's on a 4" lift with stock rims now.

Do you have any pictures of a black/black cruiser?

EDIT - I have searched just about every 'painted my wheels black' thread I could find and haven't found any black/black combo's yet. Even looked at google images - found a few riceburners that did this, but they are 3 inches off the ground and don't have nearly the same classic look as an 80.

Yea, you can't really go wrong with Black/Black vehicle-wheel combo. I have black wheels on my Green 80 and I love the way it looks. Just paint them...it'll look good.

Flat or glossy?

He cant do an extra inch, but he could trim the rears. Or just do a aluminum SBC swap and you will gain 2 inches in the front! I like the shocks, but I am going to go with something a little heavier valved in the front since I am not running a swaybar up there. Eventually I want to 3, or 4link it with coilovers.... EVENTUALLY

I went with a matte black when I powder coated my wheels, bumpers aren't glossy, flares and sliders are LineX'd, wanted to keep the semi-flat theme down low and keep the shiny stuff up high.

Two pictures, one how it looks clean, and the other how it looks the other 99.9% of the time, dirty!

Black wheels on any 80 look good. Gives a more rugged look. IMHO. Keep the pics comming.

Gloss, Matte, or flat, they all look good. I personally like the matte black and as already stated, black wheels on any color looks mean. "Sanchez" on here has a sick lookin' all black rig....hope he posts up.
