on your mini"s?

How does it attach to the air cleaner assembly or does it attach directly to the carb? I know my 62 went to the air cleaner assembly.

EDIT..it appears to go to the air cleaner assembly.....now if I can just find one

I had one for an 82 2wd pickup which I'm pretty sure is the same as an 84, but I threw it away after putting on a weber and open element. I saw your other thread so I checked out my garage hoping I still had it, but it's gone. I will check with my brother though, because I know he just swapped a weber on his 84-85 2wd today.

If you've ever spent any time next to an old tractor and looked over and wondered what a Ball Mason jar is doing on the carb...It'll usually have dirt in it.

It pulls the air in, and IIRC spins it, and the heavier dirt is spun away from the air intake.

Since going to this setup I haven't got water in the Engine. :D

Behold. A person from Virginia that does not know what a "dust separator" on a tractor looks like :lol:


They do look cool 88, but I would think they cause drag on the intake so you might loose a little power...

I really do not think I need one Pre-filter that is)......I never did on the 62 anyway. Also if the safari snorkel is assembled properly no water will enter the air cleaner.

Oh I am not from VA

WV broke off from VA like around like....:D A long damn time ago
