Hey there - haven't surfed for a while since I injured my shoulder at Democrats. Was going there frequently since I picked up a fishing / 4x4 permit. Otherwise I usually head to Rockaway or sometimes Belmar on an East swell. Any good waves recently? I've been trying to ignore the forecasts until I'm rehab'd. How's the cruiser going? We should all still meet up after the 4th.

Cruiser is going well. I have 4plus front and rear bumpers waiting for me to install up in RI. Probably won't be able to do it until August. I haven't surfed since last year since I have school on the weekends. How is your shoulder? Are you getting rehab somewhere? I'm in PT school and know tons of PTs in NYC. Have a great 4th!

bumpers should be cool. Shoulder is getting better. Just light rehab - I volunteer at Sloan Kettering so I get to go to their PT, who's a genius. If I need to see one regularly I'll check back in with you.

ps - let's all grab a beer soon - next week? I'm having some driveline issues and going to attempt to visit "Wally Moses", some pretty legendary cruiser guy while up in Southern VT. hoepfullly will have a story for you guys

Driveline vibrations. Turned out to be front shaft u-joints were shot. Now I'm chasing after a front exhaust leak and some squeezing in the steering

Guys I'm reviving this. Was hoping to get to the Coal Miner Classic in PA this wkd but that's not looking likely, so thought I'd put it out there for a small roundup of urban cruisers this week or weekend. Anyone around?
